Text Fields Connected to a Module Lookup

Text fields that are validated by a module lookup list options to select single or multiple values from a list. The list of acceptable values will not be displayed for fields connected to a module lookup. Instead, you will have options that allow you to open the respective module lookup to select a value or multiple values.

Create a criteria filter for text fields connected to a module lookup:

  1. Choose between two options:

    • Select is from the relationship field.

      This is the default value of this field. Selecting is tells the system that records returned must match this criteria.

    • Select is not from the relationship field.

      Selecting is not tells the system that records returned must not match this criteria.

  2. Choose between two options:

    • Select a single value:

      1. Choose Select from the field.

        A lookup window opens, prompting you to select the appropriate value.

      2. Select the appropriate value.

        The window closes. The selected value appears in the field.

    • Select multiple values:

      1. Choose Select Multiple from the field.

        A lookup window opens, prompting you to select the appropriate values.

      2. Select the appropriate values.

        The selected values appear in the My Selection(s) area.

        To remove a record that has been added to the My Selection(s) area in error, click the blue arrow directly to the left of the row.

      3. Click Apply.

        The window closes. The phrase <Multiple Values> appears in the field.

  3. Click Apply.

    The window closes.

  4. Click Save.

    The window closes.
